We support projects for children and young people
Donation handover to
MOBIFANT and Aktion Traumfaenger e.V.
December 19, 2024
Just in time for Christmas, we were very happy to provide donations for two Krefeld donation projects. The MOBIFANT project received a donation of 3,000 euros for the church youth work organization, and the Aktion Traumfaenger e. V. non-profit organization received 4,000 euros. At this year's Christmas party, our employees collected the money in a raffle and the management of the foundry company added to the amount. Representatives of the works council and the management of Siempelkamp Giesserei handed over the donations to the organizers.
Campaign
Mobifant
With the MOBIFANT campaign, the church youth work organization has launched a mobile play education program as part of its open child and youth work, offering children and young people aged 6 to 13 years play activities involving work and movement. The aim is to promote play activities for children in particular, as well as an eventful and skills-building process for the target group. MOBIFANT also supports the voluntary playground sponsors and the local children's and youth leisure facilities.
Non-profit organization
Traumfaenger e. V.
Meanwhile, the non-profit organization Aktion Traumfänger e. V. helps children and young people who are seriously ill. Donations collected as part of this fundraising campaign are used to fulfill the dreams and desires of these young people – whether it's spending time in a beautiful place, attending concerts or sporting events, or throwing a great birthday party. This support effectively helps to ensure that everyone involved can take a break from their daily lives and forget negative influences and thoughts for a moment, especially in difficult phases of life.
Support children and young people
in all walks of life
For Managing Director Dirk Howe and Foundry Works Council Chairman Thomas Dittmann, supporting the two donation campaigns is also a matter close to their hearts: “As a medium-sized and locally rooted family business, we always bear social responsibility. It is important to us to support children and young people in all walks of life. With our donations, we are making an important contribution and actively participating in the community in Krefeld. We are very proud of our employees' commitment.”
